Pierrot Romance. Photography and design by Jean Pierrot.
We seldom leave the house these days There's too much going on out there. Ambulances, people walking their pets And death. We seldom drive or see the ocean. There are birds, And the rain, and the wind, And an invisible threat. We seldom see our relatives Who live in their places. We cannot touch them or stand close, Even though we can see their faces. We seldom lie still in the grass Because we don't have a backyard. And all the parks are closed, We only dream of such occasions. We remember the past: Music festivals, full restaurants at 7 pm, Drunk people in dance floors. The smell of sweat. Life. We seldom live now. The danger is present. We survive. Humbly, But healthy.
